I got dinner with Den-- yay! My roommate/ex-best friend and I are no longer talking-- not yay. Becca will be here tomorrow-- yay! I'll have to study and worry about school shit while she's here-- not yay. God. I just want it to be Friday night already.

Den and I had the most supremely wonderful date last night, at an outdoor jazz concert in the backyard of Ashcroft Manor. It had big spacious grounds with fountains and flowers and Den and I camped out in chairs by the little pool and listened to the music and talked for the whole night. It was seriously one of the best nights I've ever had and I've been feeling great all day because of it.
In misc. other news, I got an A on my English paper. My professor wrote: "Aaron, I'm not sure that [being left-handed is] a culture but your paper was so well-researched and beautifully written that you've convinced me." Maybe I should take up a career in political speech-writing. My Tekken 4 poster came today, which filled me with as much giddy delight as I though it would. And um... ... con in a couple days! Becca here the day after tomorrow! *_* Can't... wait...And hey, check out my auction, baby baby!

This just in: I have been completely reamed by my Anthro test.

Well, I ended up getting to Painting about an hour before the crit was over. I sat outside until they were done, then went in and talked to him. I think that was the best option.
I have an Anthropology test at 1:30 that I've been studying for half-heartedly the past few days. I really feel like I know the material, and it's actually really interesting stuff, but we'll see how well I do. I don't care, though, it's almost the weekend and that means ONE WEEK TILL AWA YEAH BABY BABY

Tuesday was a horrible day for a lot of reasons. We heard about the attacks on the radio in Painting, and as the reports grew more confirmed and the news more serious, everyone just kind of... stopped. Everyone became ghosts of themselves as the news spread and worsened; they played live news on the busses, and when they played audio of the chaos in downtown Manhattan, a lot of people cried. Class was ended at noon, and I went home, only to find that Matt's friend who had spent the night had locked the door with my keys and, instead of leaving them under the mat, had taken them. I had to catch the bus back to campus, get a hold of my dad to help (he called a locksmith), and then went back and simply camped out on the porch for an hour waiting for the locksmith to come. Matt showed up at three, right before the locksmith was supposed to be there, and he gave me my keys, which the girl had given to him. And he gave me attitude as if all of it was my fault. Not only that, but since we hardly spend any time together anymore, we said that Tuesdays would be a day for just me and him to do stuff. Well, he came home with Chris in tow, of course. And that hurt the most out of everything. He spends every spare minute of his life with Chris-- he hasn't even spent the night here in our place in weeks-- and I don't mean shit to him anymore.
But in lighter news, Den and I went out to dinner that night to cheer ourselves up, and it was a great time as always. Things are really going fantastic between us... I just wish I could see him more often than a few times a week, but "as much as we can do is as much as we can do, and as much as we can do is enough," as my Dad says. That's apparently a book title. Yeah, I think it's kinda silly too.
Yesterday one of my two tests Friday was postponed a week, and my last class was cancalled. And today-- ^_^ It's nine o'clock and I'm an hour late for the Painting critique we've been preparing for for over a week. I missed my alarm and slept till 8:30, which is when the next bus comes, and so I have nothing to do now but wait until 9:30, get to class at 10 (we end at 10:45), and keep myself from throwing up from anxiety. Would it be more mature of me to go to class and suffer the embarassment, or to skip the class entirely in order not to disturb their critique...?

I forgot to mention yesterday that when Den (whose real name, you'll remember, is Matt) and I went to get the house paint, there were two guys working in the paint mixing section, and they were named Matt and Aaron! It was very odd.
I went to campus today armed with my discman (Tekken Tag Tournement Direct Audio) and a book of short stories and kept myself distracted enough that the day blurred by. I opened a fresh thing of milk in the fridge, poured myself a glass and took a big swallow to find it was already spoiled, and then opened a package of ramen to find it filled with maggots. So right now I kinda feel like throwing up. But that aside, uh... I did my Art History reading and... er... yeah.

Den picked me up around 1 or so and we went to his place, picked the colors, got the paint, chilled at his house, got some dinner and then I came home and read everything other than my textbooks. ^_^; And there you have it.

Wow, I really need to post more! I'll try hard to from now on. Den and I went to the GLOBES meeting on Thursday night, which was basically a lot of gay people, some brief speeches and some really great free food. I stuffed myself on cake from The Last Resort. Mmmm... 8Q
I went into the Vis Arts building to paint amidst all the football morons getting ready for the game. I went in at noon and they were already setting up camp everywhere they could for the 7:45 game, including inside the building, where they shouldn't be. Outside they were stacking beercans in pyramids on the Lamar Dodd sign. I fucking hate football, and I personally damn all obnoxious football fans to hell. ^_^ That aside, I ended up painting until 6:30 and missed the last bus home. I ended up chilling with a classmate of mine who'd come in also and she borrowed her friend's car to give me a ride home. That was nice of her. Tomorrow I'm helping Den paint his new house, and... maybe I'll study for the pair of tests I have next week.

Where the fuck did the weekend go?... Oh, I know where it went. -_- I've been spending a vast amount of my time writing a giant Jin-centered pre-Tekken 4 fic. I feel like such a fangirl. But it's fun! Even if it's, oh, distracting me from homework.
Anyway, Den and I had a lovely date Friday night and then visited the Georgia Museum of Art on Sunday. And that was basically the high points of my weekend. Now back to writing...
