Just a short announcement that I finally archived all my paintings and got them online. Head to the paintings section of the gallery to check them out. |

It seems incredibly futile to try to write about everything that's happened, but I suppose that's what I get for letting major events pile up on me like this. First and foremost, I have to mention that I have suddenly become a college graduate. The ceremony took place at 9:30 on Saturday morning and lasted until noon, I think. About ten family members descended on the house afterwards to celebrate, an event for which we'd spent the two previous days cleaning the entire house with more diligence than the act has seen in probably half a year or more. After a few hours everyone left with nary a chair out of place and our fridge stuffed with delicious leftovers-- short, simple and sweet. In addition to this, Matt's mother flew down to visit him for several days this weekend, offering a nice opportunity for our families to meet one another. All of these things spanned Thursday to Saturday; since then we've been preparing for the next event, which is a trip to visit my mom and grandmother out in Arizona. We're leaving early (early) tomorrow morning and will be gone until Saturday evening. Since I haven't seen my mom in quite a while, and I've never been in any states not flanking the east coast, I'm quite excited. This summary is sterile and lame, I know, but it'll have to suffice for now. Once I get back from Arizona many pictures will be posted and details filled in. |

Well, I'm graduating from college in about... ten and a half hours. What little I've thought of to say here will have to wait. |

Sunday night; at work; bored with the internet. Here are two small things I'm currently thinking about. First, May is now, freakishly enough, upon us. I have a minor paper due on the 4th, a major paper and a major exam on the 6th, and a minor exam on the 10th. It is possible that one or more of these will blow up in my face, but that's nothing new nor very unique. More importantly (this is debatable), I failed to realize and mention that on April 10th, this journal turned four years old. It's hard to believe that there are really four years of posts in the archive, but there they are, for better or for worse. Reading through old entries, especially early ones, is sort of fun, but also very strange and awkward. I don't do it very often. |
